We’re so excited to bring WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) back to DaVinci next year!
Our WEB leaders have already started training and preparing to welcome our incoming 7th graders and help make the transition to middle school a positive one. From day one, our goal is to make sure every student feels seen, supported, included, and connected.
We can’t wait to see the incredible impact this group will make on our campus next year!

Today, archaeologist and Anthropologist Dr. Grofe visited 7th grade world studies to describe his study of the Maya creation myth and its fascinating connections to chocolate. Students were able to access this normally college-level lecture and uncover his research in the origin of cacao and the story of the Hero Twins! They also got to enjoy some chocolate alongside, of course. Ms. Griggs loves the opportunity to have experts in their field of study share what they are passionate about with her students - unveiling pathways of future study or just deepening their interest in our current project!
