NORMALIZE BEING IN CHARGE OF EVERY SINGLE OF YOUR PROJECTS📌📌📌
Hello Friends,
It is a new day and a new week and I believe you are off to a great start.
📌I have received lots of emails and messages from many of you regarding my previous post on academic Credentials evaluation. Many of you are asking me to help you with you evaluation. I want to assume that these many people reaching out and asking me to help them are new community members: they just join this community.
⭕️For clarity, especially for those who don’t know me or how we operate here, I don’t do anything for anyone. I teach you how to do your stuff by yourself. If you reach out to me and are asking me to go apply for your WES Evaluation, you will feel ignored because those who’ve been here for long know that I won’t do it.
✅I am a DIY Coach/Mentor. If there’s anything I believe in, it is empowering you to be at the top of your own projects. You don’t need me or anyone to do things for you. You save your money, your time and heartbreaks when you do your stuff.
📌If you have an android phone, internet connection, a credit or debit card, and can read and write, you don’t need anyone to apply for things for you. I felt a bit frustrated reading from masters and bachelor degree holders asking me to apply for credential evaluations for them. Com’n good people, these things are straight forward. You don’t need anyone to do them for you. They will take your money. Don’t ask for help for every little thing.
❌I don’t like engaging in things that warrant me to submit applications on anyone’s behalf. It takes my time and especially the fact that finances will cross hands. It is a BIG NO for me. I don’t want any financial relationship with nobody about applying for xyz on their behalf. Moreover, most times, some people do not realize that organizations have to receive your documents and take many weeks to process them. Someone will call you in the middle of the night to ask for a report that was submitted 24 hours ago. You have your phones and internet connection, please do it yourself. It is easy!
📌I will attach the link to WES’ official website (which is something that you can personally search). Please click the link, go and read and select the evaluation type that you need, and follow on-screen instructions. The amount you need to pay will be determined based on the type of evaluation and the delivery method you select. Pay with your credit or debit card and provide them the information required from you and you will be good. You honestly don’t need me or anyone else for simple services like this.
🤔I see why many of you easily get scammed. Some of you even volunteered to pay me “any” amount of money to do it for you. Are you kidding me? Let’s even assume that I were to charge you. Can you really pay me if I were to charge you for my time?😂 You need that money more than I do. Don’t be ridiculous guys! Please take that money and buy internet connection. Go to WES’ website and submit your application. You will be fine.
P.S: There are international banks in every country that provide prepaid debit cards for those who don’t have bank accounts. You can use these cards to purchase products and services online. If you don’t have a bank account or a credit/debit card, please go to any international bank near you and find out if they offer prepaid cards so that you don’t depend on people. You can handle your own issues easily without relying on someone else to purchase a product or service for you.
Wishing you an excellent week ahead!
Let me know if you have any questions. Please drop them in the comments.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS📌
Hello Friends,
I've been super busy with academics and forgot to post this information to educate, especially newcomers. To date, I've done my very best to educate students, parents, and guardians about the importance of choosing a globally recognized university to pursue their degrees.
This post is specifically to show you an example of what academic credential evaluation looks like. For clarity, please note that there are different types of evaluations, including a course-by-course report. However, the sample I am showing you is not the course-by-course report.
I assisted my friend (name withheld for privacy) with his degree evaluation process through the World Education Services (WES), and his evaluation report was sent to me on May 19,2026 (see sample).
What I want you to pay attention to are the parts labeled "Credential Authentication" and "Status." You will clearly see that WES stated they received the official transcript directly from the University and that the University is recognized. WES also keeps a copy of the report and will provide it to any institution that needs it for authenticity purposes.
The implications here are that if you attend an unrecognized school, a global education service organization such as WES, which all universities and immigration services worldwide trust, will not recognize your degree. Therefore, your degree is limited only to your country. You cannot do anything with your degree beyond your country because no one knows that your university exists.
My recommendation, again, is that before you enroll in a university, please ensure that the university is globally recognized. You can quickly check this in WHED and confirm the university's reference number before you enroll. The WHED website is free.
I will share a sample of a course-by-course evaluation later. The message I wanted to send across to you, I have already done that, and I hope that you have learnt (for those seeing an evaluation report for the first time).
Because myself and 27 others studied in a state-owned university, I am a "50k XAF intellectual" with a globally recognized degree. I come in absolute peace. 🤣🤣
Have a great weekend!
Moral lesson: I can see someone trying to figure out who this Claris' friend is. Because Claris does not do anything for anybody. You must do it yourself. Well, I have my only favorite friend in the world, and he is the only person I can break a rule for without apologizing. 🤣🤣
UPDATE/DISCLAIMER: I just realized I didn't redact the university's name in the report, and I have basically given the university free publicity given the context of the conversation. It is a genuine mistake. They didn't pay me to advertise for them. I don't do any paid ads for any company or institution. I simply post to educate my amazing folks.

We had a wonderful studio session today, working on a University of California Davis (UC Davis) Global Affairs Community Emergency Fund video project🥰.
✅Given this is the first video project for the Emergency Fund, we spent so much time and meticulously prepared for it. Working on this project has been a great experience for me. From writing the script to reviewing, and filming. This is the second time I am working on a video project for UC Davis Global Affairs, and being handed the task to write a captivating script and coordinate the project.
✅I am so proud of myself and my undergraduate colleague Noemi CMartin who did an amazing job in her role. As UC Davis Global Affairs Advisory Council student representatives, we are committed to excellent ambassadorship and philanthropic leadership.
📌Someday, when I become a UC Davis Alumna, my footprint shall be remembered.
But wait….Those cameras! Fanciest studio ever. Jeeezzzz😳
🙏Many thanks to Ali and TJ for their professional support during the filming process. It was an amazing time and I laughed throughout the process. I enjoyed the behind the scenes process.😹😹😹
Looking forward to the final product🥰🥰🥰
Moral lesson: I think writing great scripts is a hidden talent that I have been ignoring.

I am proud to have participated as a project team member (team of five members) training new/first-time Graduate Teaching Assistants (TAs) in building teaching confidence and adaptibility at UC Davis, through the TeachUp Mentorship Program.
Many students assigned to their first roles as Teaching Assistants find so much difficulties navigating the role. Particularly, graduate students who are just coming directly from Undergrad or International students who’ve never taught in a classroom. Showing up on your first week and teaching a class with new technology, new setting at the university level-something you never done could be challenging for first-time teachers. Some students even get d£pressed because of the teaching role. Thus, since the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year, we used the TeachUp project to train first-time Teaching Assistants on how to build their confidence and adaptability through the TeachUp mentorship program.
This letter of completion issued by the UC Davis Graduate Pathways Institute for Professional Development in partnership with UC Davis Professors for the Future Program certifies and recognizes my contributions towards building Excellent Teaching Assistants at the University of California, Davis. The skills the TAs learnt through the TeachUp program will live with them even after graduate school (forever).
I feel fulfilled that I am able to use my teaching skills to assist others.
Looking forward to next year….
Best,

I DID NOT REALIZE I WAS THAT SERIOUS😂
I walked into the lab 2 days ago and everyone started looking at each other without saying anything. For a moment I felt was in trouble. Looking confused, I asked what the issue was and one of my undergraduate mentees said “It seems like Friday arrived early and we are excited”. I still didn't understand what she meant. Then she added we are actually surprised because we’ve never seen you in a not-so-serious attire. We only see you in pants that are suitable for lab work. We were just happy that we are going home early today. 😂😂😂😂
Then another person added. Actually, you should spare a day of the week to wear a dress or different outfit from lab attired. This is a very lovely outfit.
Me: Just one day weh I decide say I want focus for data analysis and writing, this pikin them don want run work. Wona go must finish the work.
The picture here shows the pant that got them excited about my absence. They know that with this pant, I can not stay in the lab or work. But what they forgot is that I have a set of pants and shoes in my office that I can wear at anytime and walk into the lab incase I need to get work done. I don’t need to go home. I just change into a suitable attire for the lab. I asked the mentee if I should go to my office and change into my lab attire and she screamed NOOOOOOO😂😂😂😂
What did I do wrong that she screamed like that?

THIS COMMENT CAUGHT MY ATTENTION‼️‼️
When I read this comment under the post I made about misuse/abuse of “Dr. Title” (see slide below). I didn't take it seriously. It was after I spent about 2 hours trying to make sense of a complex dataset that I realized the truth behind the comment on my Facebook. I was pained. In fact, those priding themselves as Drs. without a first degree should avoid me. You are either a PhD, MD or Esq etc. Otherwise, avoid me. No bring honorary near me.
Moral lesson:
With so much excitement to listen to some cool work they are doing.
🛑Case study 1: Dr. without a first degree
Me: What research is your lab/you focusing on right now?
Dr with no first degree: Hmmmmmmm I…I….?
Me: 🙆♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
🛑Case study 2: Dr. with a PhD
Me: What research is your lab/you focusing on right now?
Dr. with a PhD: My overall research focuses on # # # # # #. I/we are currently investigating # # in # # . The goal is to # # in # # . We initial conducted a study on # # in 2024 and found # # # # # # # # # which was really very intriguing. Thus, we decided to explore further by asking the questions # # # # # . So far, we have explored the dataset and finding very interesting results which shows # # # # # # surprisingly very different from our initial hypotheses. We also find that # # # # # is counter intuitive. We continuing to conduct further analysis on the dataset for better interpretation.
Me: Wow! Sounds really interesting. I will read the 2024 study tonight and follow up with you.
The above case scenarios show the difference between someone who was handed a title vs. someone who worked and earned their title.
PhDs have a language they speak and they can spot someone who didn't earn the degree. Even PhDs who work in the industry and not academia articulate themselves in a similar way but focusing on whatever job they do for their companies. MDs and Esqs will articulate differently as well but they will tell you why they are called Dr. especially for MDs.
When you introduce yourself as a Dr. please note that a PhD must ask you questions about your research. They always do. Because they are excited about the ground-breaking work colleagues are doing in their respective fields, they are looking for potential future collaborations on projects etc. As soon as they hear Dr. X # # # it automatically triggers that excitement and they want to know more. They first assume Dr. is a PhD. So if you meet a PhD, and you introduce yourself as Dr. # # # be ready to chat about research for 2 minutes. However, if you have no idea how to communicate like a Dr. (you were handed a title) please introduce yourself as Mr. and safe yourself the embarrassment.
Thank you for reading!

SPOILER ALERT: SOME OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE WILL NOT LIKE ME AFTER READING THIS TODAY ‼️‼️
The confusion about the Dr. Title especially now that honorary Drs. are beginning to claim a PhD title is alarming. But here is the thing that people do not understand. Even before you earn the title PhD, the process in itself is very complicated. You have to understand that there are sub titles to your PhD status as you make progress with your degree requirements and you must respect them. And yes, we don't like it when you use the wrong title when you are in a different status in your degree.
Many people including those in the doctoral degree process (academic PhD) (especially in some countries 😂) do not even understand what title to use to introduce themselves. Again, we don't like it when you want to claim to be at the level where you are not and we are not sorry. You must recognize and appreciate the fact that there is work to be completed before you can get to the next level. Some, as soon as they are enrolled in a PhD program, they start harrasing everyone in their neighborhoods to address them as “Doc”. Please stop it! The title is not that cheap. Especially the academic one.
Here are some mistakes (wrong titles) many who are enrolled in doctoral programs make that actually annoys PhDs or those advanced in the program.
📌You do not call yourself a PhD Candidate when you are a PhD student. Advancing to PhD candidacy isn't as easy. You pass through f!re (h£ll fire standard). Worst is the Qualifying Exam/Comprehensive😩. I’ll never forget those 4 hours of my life.
📌Same as you do not call yourself a PhD, when you are just a PhD candidate. Please know your status and stick by it. Don't try to be where you are not yet. It annoys PhDs. You still have a long way to go.
Now read this carefully and never depart from it 😀:
✅Admitted or enrolled at a university for a PhD program = PhD STUDENT.
✅ Completed all PhD degree milestones except dissertation which means: you have completed your coursework requirements, written a research proposal, passed your written comprehensive exams, defended the proposal (PhD Qualifying Exam); Infact fulfilled all of the requirements for a PhD degree except your dissertation (ABD) and have received an official letter from your university advancing/admiting you to candidacy= PhD CANDIDATE.
❌You can not be in the first semester/quarter of your PhD program and introduce yourself as a PhD candidate. Hell No! You are a PhD STUDENT. Don't annoy us. 😂 You are not even different from a first degree or masters student. No one knows you are in the PhD program yet until you are admitted into candidacy. You can still fail your PhD candidacy exam and be dismissed from the program. Which means until you are admitted to PhD candidacy, you can not hit your chest and claim that you are pursuing a PhD. This is the sad reality and it is the truth. Please get to work and earn your spot in the candidacy level.
🛑To PhD candidates, you too have to chill. You don't accept the “Doc” title from your neighborhood people. That is wrong and jokes aside; it can get you into trouble in academia for claiming a PhD degree that you did not earn. That is called MISREPRESENTATION in academia and it is punishable. You will eventually receive the title but until you have defended your dissertation and the degree has been CONFERRED to you, you are just a CANDIDATE. Stop tr@umatizing those village pipo with the Doc title.
There's one person like that who calls himself Dr. # # #. I have searched for their PhD dissertation and have never seen it. They are also not a medical doctor (MD). Neither are they a Juris Doctor (Esq) nor an honorary doctor (which shouldn't even be called doctor because completing a PhD degree is difficult while many honoraries “buy” the title). I am assuming they earned their degree in one school that has a complete analogue system and their dissertation was never published online (they can use this one to get away with it by saying “my dissertation is in the library”). 😃
Finally, PhDs in the making. Please know your status and use the right title. Please don't annoy your seniors by confusing your levels. Relax and put in the work. You will definitely get there and earn your spot.
You are welcome!
Moral lesson: Given the stress an academic PhD comes with ehn. If you have an honorary title and we happen to meet please introduce yourself to us properly when you say I am Dr. # # . Don't make us believe we are at the same intellectual level when we are not. Not to talk about those who claim they earn PhDs in 6 months. You are not even supposed to be a topic of discussion.

GENTLE REMINDER: PARENTS, GUIDIANCE AND STUDENTS📌
Dear Team,
This is me sending a gentle reminder to parents, guardians and students who have children or are in their final year (high school). Many schools in different countries are writing their national exams to obtain high school certificates/diplomas. For the past months before you started writing your national exams, you might have been visited by different Universities/Higher institutions campaigning you and providing you reasons to chose their institutions after your advanced level certificates.
While most of them seem very promising and great fit for your goals, you must ensure that you don't get into an institution that would become an academic “trap” for you. That said, my recommendation is for you (parents, guardians and students) to do your due diligence before enrolling yourself or your children to these schools when you finally graduate from high school in the months ahead. It is your responsibility to understand what you are going in for, before you join their institutions. Don't spend 3 or 4 years pursuing a degree that will not be recognized beyond your country. I can not say the number of times I have repeated this.
If in doubt, and you don’t know how to verify the university you are about to commit to, please go and submit your applications to a state-owned university. You are much better and safer with a degree from a public institution. Most, if not all public universities in your country are internationally recognized. Thus, whatever degree you earn from there is also legit and globally recognised. However, if you just need a degree and don't care about your future with that degree, then apply to any school.
Disclaimer🛑: No public university has paid me to do any ad for them. I am simply using my experience as an expert and mentor in the field to educate and sensitize you. I am tired of seeing many of you make wrong decisions because of lack of the right information that you end up regretting. I speak to parents, guardians and students daily and it is frustr@ting when I listen to many of them express their regrets. It is better to make the right decisions now than cry after 4 years.
PS: To the “degrees are useless and going to the university is useless g@ng”, I actually know that. Please don't remind me because it will be a waste of your time telling me what I already know.
I hope this piece of information helps first timers or a reminder to those who already know.
Have a great week ahead!
