Nature is not only beautiful, but absolutely powerful, resilient. 💪🏼🌳🌲🌱

When we talk about the climate crisis and pollution we understand that earth itself is not dying. The planet and nature will be resilient, its us that will suffer the extremes brought to us upon by Big Oil, Big Banks, and Intense Animal Agriculture. The problem here is, while the planet and nature will remain, it will not be as we remember it. With mass extinction of species we are creating disturbances at a very fast rate.

We fight to preserve nature and the species present today because we still don't know the repercussions of their harm. Plus, I don't think other species should suffer the consequences of climate change brought by the responsible few corporations.

If you saw through my eyes, first of all you would need glasses or contact lenses 😋, but after that you would see the beauty of the world and how much I adore it. Only then you would see why I fight so much to protect it 😌 #🌿 #🌱 #🌴 #🌊

A beautiful place, yet plastic was found all throughout the park. Honestly, when I see littering I don't get mad because I already know that either way all plastic produced will mainly contaminate whether it is an enormous landfill, a creek, alongside the freeway, or the ocean. As soon as plastic is produced the only certainty is that it will end up in our soil, water, and air. They are found everywhere: your own backyard, at your park, or across the ocean in an island.💧 🏞

Main takeaway is to refuse and reduce plastic consumption as much as possible in a collective manner to tell companies that we have had enough. We need circular business modeling where all the life of a product is planned out from how to produce it with low environmental degradation to how to repurpose it immediately after its original function is complete.

Our recycling systems are flawed and they are an excuse for many companies to continue producing toxic materials that never truly decompose without harming human health and habitats. While there are some companies improving their recycling methods, we need to be fully aware of what we buy and how many times we buy it. What materials are used. What labor was needed to make the product. This way when we buy things we fully take care of things. 🌿🤍

Any vegan and vegetarian food place suggestions/ meals? 🙋🏻‍♀️💚

Personally, I eat meat 1-3x or less a month. I've been learning new vegetarian recipes and exploring food places. I feel pretty great and the food is delicious!
