📹 Watch this cool video: "What is a common mosquito myth you hear?"
A very common misconception in urban areas is the belief that if you don’t have standing water in your yard, mosquitoes won’t breed there. In reality, mosquitoes can develop in even the smallest amounts of water—such as bottle caps, clogged gutters, flowerpot trays, or pet bowls. Many urban residents are surprised by how little water is needed for mosquitoes to thrive.
