Hello Members! If anyone is interested in volunteering for NSU's Academic Fest, please let us know ASAP. The fest will be held April 4th from 11-2. You do not need to stay for the entire time. If you are interested, email either Amanda Racioppi ([email protected]) or Dr. Trotman ([email protected]).

Just a reminder of the deadline for NSU's Kappa Delta Pi Omega Theta Chapter 2012 Fall Initiation period. You must complete all steps as outlined on KDP's OrgSync page as mentioned on the welcome screen.

The online initiation ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 4th @ 7pm via Elluminate. The invitation to the online ceremony with the online link will be sent via email next week. ONLY those persons who have completed all steps as outlined on the 2012 Initiation Process page of OrgSync will receive this information.

If you are interested in joining KDP, please attend the online informational meeting on September 12th at 7pm. For more details and a link to the meeting, please visit Orgsync.

The chapter promotion began today, Wednesday, August 1st and end on Friday, August 31st.

Kappa Delta Pi is creating an important new book tentatively titled Perspectives on Teacher Leadership, and I would like to invite you to contribute. The purpose of this book is to examine teacher leadership from many perspectives in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the ways that teacher leaders foster positive change in their schools.



I encourage you to review the proposal guidelines and to submit your chapter proposal by the October 1, 2012 deadline.

2012 Spring Initiation Ceremony tonight at 7:30 via Elluminate. All paid applicants have been sent an exclusive link to attend tonight's ceremony.

Tonight's initiation ceremony was postponed on Thursday and will now be held on June 6th. The link will only be sent out Monday to those who have paid NATIONAL and CHAPTER dues and fees. All applicants with payments due will need to wait for the next initiation ceremony being held in the Fall.

UTEP Portfolio Workshop located at the Main Campus this Saturday, April 14th in Carl DeSantis Bldg, Room 1124 from 12-2pm. We are looking for members to assist teacher candidates with the creation or to review the organization of their portfolio. If you need assistance with this, we will assist YOU TOO!! Spring 2012 Initiations will begin March 23rd. Please look for the email invitation at that time.
