We also get to congratulate our newest NSU Academic Diving Program INSTRUCTORS!! This team went through our semester-long PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) through the masterful mentorship of Course Director Kimmy Schmutz as well as IDC Staff Sierra Rafacz and Robby Spekis! Their scores were off-the-charts amazing, showcasing the benefits of comprehensive training and development in a semester long IDC. Well done and we can't wait for you all to begin teaching in Fall semester!

At the end of the Winter 2025 Semester we also get to celebrate the AMAZING staff of the NSU Academic Diving Program during our Awards Ceremony. We have Rookie of the Year, Team Player, MVP and the famous Silver Snorkel Award. Each one of these are peer voted and they represent the best of this amazing staff. To be on staff of the NSUADP is all about leadership development while staying true to talent and humility. Seriously talented dive pro's right here! Congratulations!!!

As Winter Semester 2025 wraps up for the NSU Academic Diving Program, there are some wonderful accomplishments. Here we congratulate the newest certified open water divers from MBIO 1300 Introduction to Scuba Science. In this 15-week course NSU students are taught snorkeling, freediving and scuba diving. Their academics are professional level theory including diving physics, physiology, equipment, environment and decompression theory.
