We hope you and your family are enjoying a wonderful summer! While our students are enjoying some well-deserved time off, the Silver Ridge team has been busy preparing for another amazing school year.

We are thrilled to share that Silver Ridge Elementary has once again earned an "A" school grade! Even more exciting, we are part of an A-rated Western Zone and an A-rated Broward County Public Schools District. This achievement reflects the hard work of our students, staff, families, and community partners. Thank you for your continued support!
🏕️ Summer Camp Is Going Strong
Our summer camp is running daily from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and students are having a fantastic time learning, exploring, and making memories.

🌳 School Beautification Day – July 25
We invite all families to join us for our annual School Beautification Day on:

⏰ 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
We'll be planting new flowers and plants, refreshing mulch around the campus, and helping prepare our school for the start of the new year. Even if you can only spare an hour or two, your support will make a tremendous difference.

📚 Kindergarten Reading Screenings – July 28 & 29
Families with incoming kindergarten students should schedule their child's reading screening as soon as possible.
Each screening is conducted one-on-one with one of our amazing kindergarten teachers and helps us gather important information to create balanced classrooms for the upcoming school year.

🏫 Class Placements and Schedules:
Many families have asked about class assignments. Please know that class schedules are not finalized until approximately August 4.
Throughout the summer we continue to register new students and process withdrawals on a daily basis. This requires us to continually balance classrooms to ensure the best possible learning environment for all students.
