It feels like just yesterday Landyn was walking through our halls as a kindergartner, full of curiosity, kindness, and potential. Today, we celebrate him as a graduate and reflect on the incredible young man he has become.

From the very beginning, Landyn showed signs of greatness, and it has been a joy to watch his journey unfold. We are so proud of all he has accomplished and know that this is only the beginning of many successes to come.

This is our final Friday Focus of the 25-26 school year as we wrap up another truly amazing year at Silver Ridge Elementary!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our families for your continued support throughout the year. Your partnership has made a tremendous difference in the success of our students and our school. We are especially grateful to our incredible PTO for their dedication, time, and unwavering commitment to our school community.

A special congratulations to our 5th grade students as they prepare to move on to middle school this week and begin the next chapter of their educational journey. We are so proud of all that you have accomplished during your time at Silver Ridge. While the COVID-19 pandemic may feel like a distant memory, we recognize that this class began their journey as kindergarteners learning online. It has been an honor to support you along the way, and we know you are ready for what lies ahead.

Next week brings several exciting and memorable events:

Monday:

5th Grade Dance

We will also welcome back our Western High School graduates for a special “Senior Walk” through the halls of Silver Ridge before their graduation later that evening. Our 5th grade students will follow them through the building for a standing ovation from our K–4 students and staff. This is always a powerful and inspiring moment for everyone.

Tuesday Evening:

5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony at Western High School

Students must arrive by 5:30 PM. Tickets were sent to parents via email. We look forward to celebrating this important milestone together with our families.

Wednesday:

Early Release Day – Students will be dismissed at 12:00 PM (noon)

As we head into summer, we wish all of our families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable break. i-Ready and Reflex Math will remain available through July 29 for students who would like to continue practicing their skills.

We encourage our students to read each day and to take time to enjoy meaningful experiences with family and friends—creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you again for a wonderful school year. It has truly been a privilege to serve this community.
