Very proud to present our collaboration work at the 2026 UF/IFAS Extension Summit! 🌱🐝
Celebrating 2 years of partnership between UF/IFAS Broward County Extension, 4‑H, and Urban Horticulture! Our team showcased a poster on a cross‑pollination training initiative for Master Gardener Volunteers, focused on youth protection and safe youth development.
Over the past two years, we’ve trained volunteers on the importance of consistent youth‑safety standards across all Broward County, Florida 4‑H, and national 4‑H activities. By integrating youth protection into everyday volunteer training, we’re helping maintain program integrity, community trust, and safe, high‑quality experiences for the youth, families, and partners we serve.
Thank you to our Master Gardener Volunteers, 4‑H staff, and community partners for your commitment to safety, education, and growing brighter futures together! 🌿✨
