Our mission at Shepherd's Flock Preschool is to rigorously educate children in Biblical principles and academic standards. We will prepare these children in such a manner that upon entrance into grade school, they will be a step ahead and prepared for any challenges they may face. Activities will be fun and structured to keep children actively engaged in the learning process. Children will be prov

ided with incentives to reward them for positive behavior and academic accomplishments. Each week our students are introduced to a new letter and theme. In our three-year-old classroom, students work on recognizing letters, shapes, colors, and numbers. Our focus in this program is on social skills, communication, and fundamental learning while in the four-year-old program, students learn more about phonetics and handwriting skills. Every year, we have some four-year-olds who return to our program because they miss the public school enrollment cutoff. These students will be in a separate group during some math and writing activities to work on more advanced learning in those areas. Our goal for these students is to achieve early reader steps by graduation.
