Chinese Culture Club promotes Chinese culture and language at Davidson College.
Chinese Culture Club is a student group aimed at promoting Chinese culture and language at Davidson College. In the past, we’ve held public events like a Chinese New Year celebration, organized club trips to Chinese restaurants in Charlotte, and raised money for the Beijing Dandelion School for migrant workers’ children.

Happy Lunar New Year everyone! This is the year of the rooster. Join ACAA and CCC for a grand celebration in the Lily Gallery at 6-7:30pm! Food, drinks, fun games, and fireworks will be provided. You can also make your own dumplings and get your name written in Chinese. Come celebrate with us!

Come celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the Chinese Culture Club this Friday 4-6 pm in the Duke International Lounge! It is one of the most important festival in China and a great time for family gathering, moon-gazing, and mooncake eating. Come play games, taste mooncakes and other Chinese snakes, and learn more about Chinese culture! You can even make your own ice-cream mooncake!

One of the biggest Chinese traditional festival, Mid-Autumn Festival is coming up. There is a beautiful fairy tale, a love story, passed on through generations in forms of book, drawing, opera and story telling. If you would like to find out what the story is or simply want to taste some gorgeous and delicious Chinese desserts, come to the INTERNATIONAL LOUNGE this FRIDAY at 6:30PM. CCC and ACAA will be celebrating the festival with you!

Next Thursday, Oct. 23 at 8:30pm, Chinese Culture Club will be hosting a viewing party in the Multicultural House to watch a live stream of a debate between political scientists Victor Shih and Barry Naughton that's being held at UCSD. It promises to be a lively debate - we hope you can join us!
