With Valentine's Day on the horizon, many people are thinking about love for others. When was the last time that you expressed love for yourself? Everyone, including you, has a unique style of leadership. We believe that leadership is not positional, and thrives through relationships. Because of this, you have the opportunity to "Lead From Where You Are." Take some time to reflect and maybe journal using these prompts: "What do I love about my leadership style? How does it impact others?"

If you find it difficult to answer these questions, pose some questions to those with whom you share space and time. They can shed light on what you cannot see. Have a Happy Valentine's Day!

As you take on your final exams, remember to breathe, stay steady, and believe in the work you’ve put in. We’re proud of you, and we’re cheering for you. You’ve got this - and we’re with you all the way. ❤️📚

Today ends International Education Week at Davidson. Many of our Chidsey Leadership Fellows identify as international students. We are grateful for their perspectives and the unqiue components each of them bring to the culture of our program. This week, we're flahsing back to our All Chidsey Gathering where all cohorts engaged in a volunteer project - card writing to residents of The Pines! Our Community Engagement Committee prepared for weeks developing learning outcomes, sourcing mateirals, and determing how to appeal to their peers.

Our committee led us this past Monday in writing letters to seniors at and tapping into our talents as well as the Chidsey pillars. Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and stay tuned for our programming for the rest of the semester!

Calling Class of 2029!

The Chidsey Leadership Fellows Program cordially invites you to the inaugural Chidsey Leadership Open House for Class of 2029. The event will be hosted on Monday, December 1st from 4:30PM - 6:00PM in Wall 210. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the Chidsey Leadership Fellows Program, how to apply, interact with current Chidsey Fellows, and enter a giveaway exclusive to attendees of the Open House. Refreshments will be provided, and RSVP is highly encouraged as space is limited (link in bio).

The Chidsey Leadership Fellows Program is a 3-year experiential program that develops leaders who will make a lifetime impact on and exemplify the values of Davidson College. We believe leadership is a choice and that anyone has the ability to lead from where they are. The program enacts a leadership learning environment where students bring their leadership experiences to seminars, engage in reflection, connect leadership frameworks to develop their own skills and understandings, then apply what they learn. Every Monday, Chidsey Leadership Fellows attend monthly Cohort Meetings, All Chidsey Gatherings, Chidsey Chats with Mentorship Pods, one-on-one coaching, and other distinguished experiences. Each cohort generally consists of 16 members for a total of 48 students, Sophomores through Seniors.
