Meet Yann Bada ‘29, a rising sophomore from Trinidad and Tobago who spent his first year at Davidson sharpening his interest in international sports business and consulting. A student manager for the men’s basketball team, Davidson Consulting Group member, Davidson Impact Fund manager and incoming Resident Advisor, Yann stays busy on campus.
A highlight of his year was attending the Matthews Center for Career Development’s Trailblazers Career Trek in Atlanta, where he connected with alums working in business and consulting.

Sewing, Painting and Tiny Jam Sessions: DACE Studio Brings Art into Everyday Life The Davidson Arts and Creative Engagement (DACE) Studio welcomes students to unleash their inner artists in a community setting. The studio’s basement headquarters at Davidson College offers paint, crafting and art supplies, and also serves as a tiny concert hall.

Curt Leathers ‘79 and Julie Johnson Leathers ‘80 welcomed the inaugural Leathers Family Scholar to campus this year! The pair met in Belk Residence Hall in 1978 and have shared a life of honor and integrity. Now, they are helping to bring talented, service-minded students like Ava Linnell ‘29 to Davidson.
