📣 Eisenhower PTA Update! 🦅

Have you seen our PTA Membership Drive display in the school? We’re excited to see those ice cream cones filling up as more Eisenhower families join the PTA! 🍦

We recently had our first PTA meeting of the school year, and we’re excited about what’s ahead for our Eisenhower Eagles!

🍂 Jump Into Fall — September 11th, 5:00–7:30 PM
🎃 Halloween Movie Night — Tuesday, October 13th
👻 Trunk or Treat — October 23rd
🍫 Fall Fundraiser — Begins in October.. and we’re just getting started! 🎉

We’d love to have more families involved this year! You don’t have to make every meeting or volunteer at every event. Whether you have an hour to help, an idea to share, or simply want to stay connected, we’d love to have you involved!

🎉 Summer Resource Folders Sent Home Today! 🎉

Today, the Eisenhower PTA sent home summer resource folders with our students to help families discover fun, educational, and recreational opportunities throughout the Quad Cities this summer.

Every student received:
• A Quad Cities Destination Guide
• A Davenport Parks and Recreation Program Guide

Students may also have received:
• A letter from the Las Vegas Raiders
• A "Science is Cool!" sticker from NOAA
• A NOAA Fisheries beluga whale bookmark
• A greeting card from the Computer History Museum
• A Cincinnati Observatory patch
• Additional educational materials

A huge thank you to all of the organizations that contributed materials, and an extra special thank you to our PTA volunteers who helped gather, organize, and assemble these folders for our students.

We hope these resources help our Eisenhower families make the most of a fun, active, and memorable summer break! ☀️

What started as a simple school fundraiser turned into something way bigger than we ever expected.

We had donations come in from across the country 🌎

Items and experiences from places most of us have never even been. Support from people who have never stepped foot inside Eisenhower

And somehow… it all came together right here in our community 💛

Between the auction and Trivia Night, we raised over $3,500 to support:

📚 Teacher grants
✨ Classroom enrichment
🎓 Student opportunities
🤝 Community-building programs

But honestly—it was more than the number.

It was the energy in the room at Trivia Night
It was families, friends, and neighbors showing up
It was people sharing, donating, bidding, and believing in what this school can be

This was one of those moments that reminds you what a community can do when it rallies together.

And we’re just getting started 👀
