You wouldn’t knowingly pay a cybercriminal’s gas bill. ⛽ So don’t make it easy for them to get into your accounts.

Short passwords and passwords reused across multiple accounts can give criminals an opening. If one reused password is exposed in a data breach, attackers may try it on your other accounts too.

Use long, unique passwords for every account, store them in a password manager and turn on multifactor authentication whenever it’s available.

Make them buy their own gas.

🍬 Sweet treats and even sweeter career advice!

Students at our Clinton campus had the chance to connect with local employers during our Sweet Career Advice event!

From communication and teamwork to professionalism and leadership, employers shared quick, practical tips to help students prepare for their future careers. And with every conversation came a scoop of candy to add to their own candy salad! 🍭

A big thank you to the local businesses and organizations who took the time to share their knowledge, make connections and support our students!

A warm welcome to the newest Phi Theta Kappa candidates at our Clinton campus! 🎉

The Alpha Theta Beta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa recently held its orientation, bringing new candidates together with current members and advisors to learn more about the honor society and opportunities to get involved.

It was great to see such a strong turnout and so many students ready to connect, lead and make the most of their college experience.

🍬 Sweet career advice and even sweeter connections!

Our Career Services team recently hosted Sweet Career Advice events at Clinton, Muscatine, and Scott campuses, bringing together 175 students and 42 businesses!

Students had the opportunity to connect with local employers, ask questions, explore career opportunities, and pick up valuable advice for their futures — along with plenty of candy! 🍭

A big THANK YOU to all the businesses that took the time to share their knowledge and experiences with our students. Your involvement helps students make connections and discover what's possible beyond the classroom!

🌳 What an honor for Bickelhaupt Arboretum and our Clinton community!

We're excited to share that Bickelhaupt Arboretum has received the 2026 Grow Clinton VALUE Spotlight Innovation Award, recognizing the vision and collaboration that brought Marvin, the Thomas Dambo Troll, to Clinton!

This incredible addition to the arboretum was made possible through the support of the Paul B. Sharar Foundation, Clinton Community College, and community partners who helped turn an exciting idea into a reality.

Thank you to Grow Clinton for this recognition and to everyone who continues to support the arboretum as a place for art, nature, education, and community connection! ❤️
