Started by the American Homebrewers Association, since 1988 the 1st Saturday in May has been deemed Big Brew Day.
BBD is when friends, local homebrew club members, and spectators get together to brew, share beers & food, and talk about brewing. We share techniques, recipes, and laughs 🤣
There will be a small, local BBD in the grass lot at Blue Cat Brewing Co. so feel free to stop by between @ 10am-3pm.
The AHA provides recipe ideas; for 2022 they are The CommUnity American Lager, and Dark Inception Imperial Porter; but you can, of course, brew anything that you want 🍺

Valentines/Galentines/Palentines Day ❤️ is right around the corner! If you are looking for a quick & easy dessert idea, just grab a boxed brownie mix and replace the water/milk called for with
wine 🍷 or beer 🍺
I have found that fruity red wines or ruby ports work well; Or use a locally brewed milk stout/coffee stout/chocolate stout.
Feel free to post up any other possibilities!
And since the recipe will only use a small amount of your beverage, you now have enough left over to enjoy a delish glass while the brownies bake! 😋
