Next up for our Rock Academy bands - IMPOSTORS MUSIC FEST! The biggest tribute fest in the Midwest is happening this Saturday at Schwiebert Riverfront Park and we’ve got TWO Rock Academy bands hitting the stages!

Cheeseburger Murder Cult becomes Sheepherder Patty Melt, a Lamb of God tribute, hitting the Side Stage from 2:00–2:30 PM.

Facecarver becomes FaceCarver Kills, an Ice Nine Kills tribute, taking over the Main Stage from 2:30–3:10 PM.

Two bands. Two stages. One very metal afternoon. Come out and support these young rockers as they take on Impostors Music Fest!

It was a perfect night on Saturday to take in some outdoor music at The Tangled Wood with the boys from 7 Ark. They rocked the Wood and got the crowd warmed up for Mötley Scrüe!

Huge thanks to Mötley Scrüe for making the Academy a part of their show. And big thanks to Jon Coe for stepping in as coach for the evening and Jeffrey L Pieler for helping the boys sound their best!

Exciting weekend for Impossible Wonder opening for Sons Of Legion at the The Rust Belt this past Saturday. Unbelievable opportunity! That’s a wrap on Alternating Currents for our bands Mercury's Crown, 7 Ark, and Achromatic Of Time! What an honor to be part of such a great community event. These kids had a blast sharing their original music and I couldn’t be more proud!

This event was made even more special by the ASL interpreters who signed along with the songs. We can’t thank them enough for helping make our students’ music accessible to everyone.

Mercury's Crown performed their last show with QC Rock Academy over the weekend at Alternating Currents. With Jordan heading off to college, and Cam, Nicky, and Aidan moving on to their next chapters, it’s definitely bittersweet. We will also be thinking of former guitarist, Jacob, as Mercury’s Crown closes this chapter.

It has been an absolute blast working with these fine gentlemen week after week since 2022. I’ve truly enjoyed being a part of their musical journey and watching them grow as musicians and as people.

A huge thank-you to their parents, too. These kids couldn’t have done it without your unwavering support, encouragement, and all the time you’ve invested behind the scenes. I hope they continue to follow their passions for music wherever life takes them and I can’t wait to see where their journeys lead next.
