42 Students had an inspiring experience at the ISU Go Further Girls in STEM Conference, where they explored the possibilities of STEM in a hands-on, engaging environment at Iowa State University.

Our students had the opportunity to interact with STEM role models, build confidence, and participate in sessions ranging from 3D printing and coding in Python to public health, engineering design, and even NASA-related research.

Experiences like this are instrumental in helping students see themselves in STEM careers and expanding their vision for the future.

What an incredible day at Build My Future—428 students had the opportunity to explore careers in construction and healthcare through hands-on activities and real-world experiences!

From operating equipment and trying out trades like carpentry and welding to learning skills like CPR and wound care, students got a firsthand look at what these industries have to offer.

Events like this make such a difference in helping students discover future career paths and connect with professionals in the field.

West took two teams to compete in the JA Titan competition held at Augustana. Titan is an online virtual business simulation where the students are the CEO of the business. They determine what to produce, how much to produce, how much to sell it for and many other things. Both teams did hold their own in the competition finishing 3rd and 7th respectively. Top 2 make it to the next round for a scholarship
