This will be a webinar event; open to Masons only.

Are we ready for that? What is the common ground on which we can engage one another constructively as citizens in today’s polarized America? And what about Freemasonry and the role of Freemasons?
Imagine what would happen to Freemasonry if, due to the absence of Masonic Education, its members were to become ignorant of its tenets, cardinal virtues, and core mission? A Freemason would lose the knowledge of the tools, implements and skills needed to better himself as a Free Builder.
Likewise, imagine what would happen to America if, due to the absence of Civics Education, its citizens were to become ignorant of the core principles of freedom and democratic republican self-governance? Americans would lose the knowledge of the tools, mechanisms, and skills needed to engage one another constructively for the purpose of advancing their human condition.
Tune in to a most interesting conversation with Academy Award Winner and Brother Richard Dreyfuss, 32°, who will enlighten us with his perspective as a Freemason on Civics and Civic Engagement. The conversation, sponsored by the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, will be facilitated by members of the Masonic Legacy Society.
The event will take place in the form of a webinar on Friday, September 17, 2021 (Constitution Day) from 7 PM to 8 PM EDT. Open to Masons Only.

About the Masonic Legacy Society
In 2017, a fantastic group of Masons from around the nation gathered in Washington D.C. with the generous help of the John E. Fetzer Memorial Trust (now dissolved). The group evolved over three years, and all the while, it was working on a secret project--A carefully crafted document, The Art of Practicing Our Mysteries. The group's ambitious goal was, simply stated, "To deepen one's awareness of and experience with the practice of Freemasonry." The hope was that Freemasonry might reawaken the spirit of the past, revitalize the Craftsmen within our temples, and preserve the Great Experiment well past our Country’s 250th anniversary.
Since its launch, the Masonic Legacy Society has presented its unique approach to thousands around the globe. It has enabled Freemasons to explore their inner depths to find philosophical meaning in the ritual and practical meaning in their lives. Some have described the Masonic Legacy Society as "The missing piece of Freemasonry in the 21st century." Freemasonry continues to be the repository--the archive of divine Truths and philosophies that have changed and shaped the world. The modern Mason, through contemplation and open discussions, will plumb the depths of this archive and put what he finds there to use to make his world a better place.
