Kids, families, and teachers at SAU Children’s Campus celebrated International Mud Day by getting really muddy and observing nature, the outdoors, and mess.

International Mud Day is a way to connect children to the earth and soil and discover the messy joy of playing in the mud 🪴

It was a beautiful yesterday at SAU Children’s Campus. We had Anne Gannaway, from the SAU President’s office and Brooke Hendrickx, from EveryChild visit us. Many thanks to every one who came helped students plant pinwheels on the front lawn of our building in celebration of Child Abuse Prevention Month. In 2008, Prevent Child Abuse America introduced the pinwheel as the national symbol of child abuse prevention through their Pinwheels for Prevention® program. We look forward to planting our promise again next year!
