From the Dig Site to the Museum Floor: A Growing Partnership with the Putnam Museum

This past weekend, the VictoryXR team joined the Putnam for Dino Days, providing hands-on support and helping families experience a life-sized Triceratops in mixed reality.

From Ancient Egypt to a Triceratops Dig Site

VictoryXR previously developed an immersive Augmented and Virtual Reality experience for the Putnam’s Ancient Egypt exhibit, giving visitors a new way to explore history and engage with the museum's collections.

We are continuing that work with the Putnam's upcoming Triceratops skeleton exhibit.

Last year, VictoryXR joined the Putnam team in Wyoming to help excavate the Triceratops and capture immersive footage at the actual dig site. That work is now being transformed into virtual reality field trips, allowing students and museum visitors to put on a headset and experience what it was like to stand at the excavation site while learning about paleontology.

From building immersive exhibits to supporting live museum events to creating educational VR experiences, VictoryXR continues to work alongside the Putnam as their immersive technology partner.
