We thank our community leaders for putting the lives of others as a priority. We thank Polk County Fire Station 33 and our firefighters for teaching the children about fire hazards and safety. 🔥🧯👩‍🚒🚒

Today we had the Honor of having Mr.Robert as a guest speaker to the children. Mr. Robert is a Pastor/ Evangelist and retired NYC Police officer. He taught about the true meaning of Passover. "Bunnies, eggs and candies are fun but it is all about the cross" he said. He brought to the children some eggs with a cross inside, candies and crafts about the Love of Jesus for the children to color. We are happy to have Mr. Robert Hyer as part of our Chosen Christian Academy family.

Chosen Christian Academy first annual "King and Princess Dance" ( Dad and daughter dance) was a complete success. We only have 8 girls in our entire academy, but we had so much fun.
Chosen Christian Academy wanted to give an opportunity to all the Dads to invest in their relationship with their daughter(s). We believe this will have an impact in the future. Therefore we created an opportunity to propel exactly that.
Dads and daughters enjoyed of a formal morning music, dancing, food, craft, photos and memories. We believe this is not only quality time spent with the princesses, but cherishable moments that will last forever.

Our Academy

Chosen Christian Academy, a Bilingual Preschool, is a ministry of The Chosen Faithful. Candidates must be able to support the vision of The Chosen Faithful and be able to adhere to it's Culture.

Your new role - Preschool Teacher

Will be leading the classroom to create enriching childcare experiences for our children. Classroom range from ages of 2 years old through Pre-Kindergarten, Your childcare work experience and expertise will make the impact necessary to fulfil this role.

What you will need to succeed:

Must be a qualified preschool teacher with a minimum of 2 years preschool teaching experience. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills to ensure appropriate child supervision. Ability to mentor designated Assistant Preschool Teacher. Must have a passion for childcare and education.

Preschool Teacher Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and caring environment for exploration and learning.
Train and mentor your Assistant Preschool Teacher(s).
Implement curriculum and lesson plans daily.
Prepare classroom reports and daily reports for each child in your classroom.
Engage and provide accurate feedback to parents on their child's classroom experience.
Adhere to Department of Children and Families (DCF) policies and regulations.
Perform all childcare duties as necessary.

Preschool Teacher Required Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older.
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have Early Childhood Education experience.
Must meet DCF 45 hour training requirements.
Must have Child Development Associate (CDA) certification.
Must adhere to Chosen Christian Academy Culture and training requirements.

Preschool Teacher Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual- English and Spanish Comprehension.
Have Child Development Associate (CDA) certification bilingual endorsed.
Have or willing to obtain Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) certification during the first year of employment.
CPR and First Aid Training (may be obtained during job training).

Preschool Teacher Work Environment:

Must be able to adapt and make the children's needs the primary focus.
Must be an educator. Chosen Christian Academy strives to educate children, preparing them for the next stage in their lives while emphasizing Christian moral values and character development.
Must be able to kneel, squat, stoop, crawl, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to engage in physical activities including but not limited to jumping, dancing, running, walking, hopping and skipping.

Preschool Teacher Job Type

This is a full time, 40-hour per week, non-exempt position, eligible for overtime. Applicants must be available between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:30 pm.

"Wear your PJs to School Day" was a complete success. Half of the students were with their families but this did not stop our fun day.

Last Day of school before Winter Break. The children and staff sang Christmas songs, dance and did Christmas crafts to send home. We thank our parents for all the gifts not only for the teachers but the entire staff. We thank our staff for their dedication towards Early Education. We love our children.
