Math learning can happen in so many different ways! ➕➗✏️

Sometimes we use pencil and paper, dry-erase boards, beads, coins or even the classroom floor! Whether students are working independently or receiving a little extra support, every learning experience helps them build confidence, strengthen their skills, and discover the strategies that work best for them.

Because there is more than one way to learn and more than one way to solve a problem! 🧠💡

OUR FIRST HOUSE DAY WAS A SUCCESS!

A huge shoutout to our incredible Student Voice Team for helping make our first House Day of the year such a success! 💙💛❤️💚

Our student leaders worked behind the scenes to make it all happen. They prepared acceptance letters for our new House members, organized the cafeteria and supplies, helped create the agenda, prepared activities, and made sure everything was ready for an AMAZING day! 🙌

This is what student leadership in action looks like students taking ownership, working together, and helping create memorable experiences for their school community. 🌟

And after an exciting day of House spirit, teamwork, creativity, and friendly competition…

📢 IMPORTANT DISMISSAL UPDATE – EFFECTIVE MONDAY, AUGUST 24

Navigator Families, thank you for your patience and cooperation during the first weeks of school! 💙 Based on our observations of dismissal and traffic flow, we are making adjustments to create a safer, smoother, and more efficient dismissal process.

⏰ UPDATED TIMES
High School —7:00 AM- 2:00 PM
K–2nd Grade —8:00AM- 2:30 PM
3rd–5th Grade —8:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Middle School —8:30AM - 3:30 PM

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families with siblings: Your family’s dismissal time will be based on the OLDEST sibling, allowing you to pick up your students together.

PARKING LOT ENTRY
Please DO NOT enter more than 15 minutes before your dismissal time.
• High School — 1:45 PM
• K–2nd — 2:15 PM
• 3rd–5th — 3:00 PM
• Middle School — 3:15 PM
⚠️ Families arriving too early may be asked to exit and return at the appropriate time. Arriving earlier will not result in an earlier dismissal.

CAR TAG REMINDER
Please have your car tag VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES with your student’s name written clearly and large enough for staff to see.
✅ Remain inside your vehicle.
✅ Follow dismissal staff directions.
✅ Pull forward when directed.
✅ Stay alert and avoid phone use while driving.
🚫 Please do not block neighboring communities, driveways, intersections, or surrounding roads.

Walker Tag Update:
If you have already received a Walker Tag, you are all set and may continue following the approved walker procedures.
At this time, all new Walker Applications are temporarily on hold and will not be approved until further notice. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a phone call from the school. Please do not come to the school to pick up a Walker Tag until you have received a confirmation call letting you know that your tag is ready. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and organized dismissal process for all students. Please also share this information with any family member or authorized person who may pick up your student.

Navigator families, we want to thank you for your patience during these first weeks. We need your help making our dismissal process smoother, faster, and safer for everyone!
Please make sure you write your student’s FIRST AND LAST NAME clearly on your car tag and keep the tag visible throughout the entire dismissal process.

BLUE CAR TAG-For Elementary students (3rd-5th Grade with/ wihtout Siblings)

YELLOW CAR TAG-For Middle School students WITH an Elementary sibling

YELLOW CAR TAG WITH BLUE STICKER- For Middle School students WITHOUT an Elementary sibling

BLUE CAR TAG WITH PINK STICKER- Elementary Students (Kinder - 2nd Grade WITHOUT an older sibling )

⚠️ MISSING A STICKER OR HAVE THE WRONG CAR TAG?
No worries! Please let one of our dismissal staff members know while you are in the dismissal line. We will help you correct your car tag or add the appropriate sticker so you are ready for future dismissals.

🚗 IMPORTANT ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL REMINDER

Navigator Families,
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation during arrival and dismissal this past week. We have been closely monitoring the process and making adjustments to help arrival and dismissal run more safely and smoothly.

We need everyone’s help! Please follow these important reminders:

CAR TAGS MUST BE VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES. For the safety of our students, we cannot release a student to a vehicle without the proper car tag. Please write your student’s name clearly on the car tag to help our staff.

⏰ Please arrive at your designated time:
Elementary Pickup: Enter the parking lot beginning at 2:30 PM
Middle School Pickup: Enter the parking lot beginning at 3:15 PM
Arriving before your designated time causes traffic to back up and delays the dismissal process, as vehicles arriving early must be redirected.

📵 NO PHONE USE while driving through the arrival/dismissal line. Please stay alert, drive slowly, and watch your surroundings at all times.

🏘️ Please respect our neighboring communities. Do not park, stop, wait, or block entrances, driveways, intersections, or roadways surrounding the school.

💙 Every family following the correct route, time, and procedures makes a BIG difference. Thank you for helping us continue improving our process and, most importantly, keeping our students and families safe!

For the safety and security of our students, all families must have a car tag, and students who walk home must have walker approval.
