Dear Deanery Community,

As some of you may have known, the Deanery was planning on holding our second annual concert in honor of our angel and benefactor, and my dear friend and cello student, Sue Paul, this coming Saturday, August 1st at 7pm.
Unfortunately, we experienced a scheduling issue, and are now holding this concert on Tuesday, November 3rd, 7pm at the Great Hall, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.
We had 12 cellists lined up; pros, teachers, and students, and 2 illustrious pianists. We deeply hope that you can join up in November...and I'm just personally sorry that we have to wait that long!

Thank you for your interest and support of the Deanery, ensuring quality musical education for ALL in the Quad City community.

We are so excited for the faculty recital TONIGHT! Join Haley, Ben, and the Prairie Rose String Quartet for a fun program at 6pm. Featuring music by Dua Lipa, Hozier, and Bruno Mars!

We are kicking off the Hilltop Summer Strings camp with a faculty recital Tuesday July 14th at 6pm at Trinity Cathedral! We are joined by Dubuque based group Prairie Rose String Quartet. We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

The Board of Directors of the Deanery School of Music and Gates Thomas would like to announce that as of October 1st Gates will be stepping down as Executive Director. The Board would like to thank him for all of his contributions and wish him well in his next chapter.
