🙌It’s time we introduce our newest AP to join the admin team here at RCHS! 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞’𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥, please join us in welcoming Mr. Joseph Santiago!

📎As a marine corps veteran, Mr. Santiago is 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 to the Ridge after serving at Boone MS for the past 3 years as an assistant principal. Previously, Santiago worked as a Bolt serving in the capacity of a dean role.

He will be responsible for facilities and custodians for the summer as well as having content area responsibilities starting when students return to the Ridge in the fall!

Just a reminder (as if you forgot) that today is the last day of school for all PCPS schools — AND — an early release day! School dismisses at 11:30am!

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, no backpacks will be allowed at all PCPS school sites for the remainder of the current school year.

This applies to all PCPS school sites beginning Tuesday, May 26, through Thursday, May 28 — the last day of school.

Students may carry bags no larger than a small purse. Lunchboxes will still be permitted.

This is simply a precautionary measure. It is not uncommon for schools to implement such a security change during the final days of the school year, when it is no longer necessary for students to carry backpacks or large purses.

If you feel that your child needs accommodations regarding this change, please contact your school’s administration.
