Happy Friday! 🎉 Today marks a bittersweet moment as we celebrate Ms. Ana Herrera's final day with us. After 24 years of dedicated service, she's leaving behind an incredible legacy at Dateland school! 💛

Ms. Herrera has been the kind of person who shows up — not just in the classroom, but behind the scenes too. She's been a steady, caring presence for our community, always ready to represent our school with pride and heart. ✨ Her contributions have touched so many lives in ways both big and small.

While we're excited for this next chapter in her life, we will absolutely miss her warmth, dedication, and all the magic she's brought to our school community. 🌟 Here's to celebrating 24 wonderful years of Ms. Herrera! Thank you for everything! 💚

Happy Sunday! Dismissal times remain at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with an earlier dismissal on Wednesday at 1:50 p.m.

Wednesday features an away game at Wellton beginning at 9:00 a.m. We welcome families to attend and support our athletes. Following the game, students will return to school to complete the remainder of the school day. Please note that early checkout after the game will be recorded as an absence.

As always, the weekly menu is available for your review, and we appreciate your understanding should any schedule changes occur.

Urgent! Parents, please hold your students at home. Due to the extreme weather at Dateland and the east county, we will not be sending buses until it clears. We will let you know an expected pick up once we have more information on the passing of the storm. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we keep you your child and our drivers safe.

Happy Sunday! 🎉 We're gearing up for a fantastic week ahead, and here's what you need to know to keep things running smoothly.

This week's dismissal times are as follows, so mark your calendars! 📅 Most days we're wrapping up at 3:00 p.m., but Wednesday is our early day at 1:50 p.m. Make sure to plan accordingly!

Our 4th through 8th graders have PE at 9:00 a.m. this week. 💪 They're welcome to wear their PE clothes to school, but remember—uniforms go back on after class.

We've got a delicious menu planned for the week ahead. 🍽️ We appreciate your patience as our kitchen team works their magic—sometimes our food suppliers make last-minute adjustments, and we'll keep you posted if anything changes.

Good Morning and happy first full week of school! Here is our menu for the week!

Our dismissal times are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - dismiss @ 3:00
Wednesday - dismiss @ 1:50

A reminder: 4th - 8th grades have PE on Monday, Tuesday and Friday @ 9:00 a.m. since the weather is so hot outside. Your child may wear their PE clothes to school and then change into school uniform after PE.

We are AZELLA (Kinder) and NWEA testing this week. Please have your child well rested and present at school!
