There’s a difference between saying “supplies are included” and preparing for a child as though their arrival truly matters. 🤍
This week, we’re getting everything ready for all our 2026-2027 students.
Here’s a little sneak peek of our three-day-a-week teen supplies at Flying Starlings Inc.®—and this is just a glimpse of what will be waiting for students.
Each student begins with a thoughtfully prepared collection including seven notebooks, pencils, index cards, Post-it notes, a cotton tote bag, cotton pencil case, vegan leather journal, and additional classroom materials they’ll use throughout their studies.
And yes—it is all included. Along with all the supplies for crafting, woodworking, culinary, academics, and everything else they’re learning here.
Materials are intentionally color-coded, giving students a bright, visually organized system for separating subjects, locating what they need, transitioning between classes, and gradually taking greater ownership of their schoolwork.
We want our students spending their energy on learning—not wondering whether they brought the right notebook or have what they need to participate.
And we want parents to feel something, too:
Your child has been thought about before they ever walk through the door.
Their materials have been chosen.
Their learning environment has been prepared.
Their place here has been anticipated.
Small groups. Thoughtful academics. Hands-on learning. Beautiful materials. Time outdoors. Creativity. Independence. Genuine relationships with teachers who know their students.
These seemingly little details are part of something much bigger: creating an educational environment where children can feel known, prepared, capable, and excited to come back.
You didn’t simply choose classes.
