MEET THE CAST: nnie Witzig (Karen Smith) [she/her] Annie, a junior, was last seen in The SpongeBob Musical. No stranger to the DHTC family, Annie has performed on our DHTC stage long before becoming a high school student. She appeared in Elf, Jr., A Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol, and she was our Matilda in Matilda. As a high school student, she has also performed in Freaky Friday, Grease, Elf the Musical, Gunfight at the Bingo Corral, and High School Musical. She performed for eight years with SouthCoast Children’s Theatre in Annie, Seussical, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Jr, James and the Giant Peach, Jr, and The Addams Family. Annie has been taking voice lessons for 7 years. At DHS, she is also a member of the DHS Show Choir, Dynamix, and plays tennis. A fun fact about Annie is that was born in Missouri. She sends thanks out to her family who has put in many hours throughout the years helping with behind the scenes for the shows. DHTC presents MEAN GIRLS The Musical. High School Edition.
