Our Teacher Feature this Friday is Ms. Lauren! Ms. Lauren was a 2nd grade teacher before Georgetown Hill but has loved teaching the littles since joining us in 2022.

Today’s teacher feature goes to Ms. Ashley, our TK Teacher! Three things to know about Ms. Ashley: she loves to go thrifting on the weekends, loves to bake for her friends and family, and is a die hard Eagles fan!

Every face in the mirror is unique — and that’s the whole point!

As part of our All About Me unit, our Threes class studied their own reflections to create self-portraits, learning that what makes each of us unique is worth celebrating. ✨

A new look. A new beginning.

One of our favorite finishing touches? Our brand-new awning is officially up, marking the entrance to Georgetown Hill Early School's newest Bethesda campus. A full-circle moment that made us smile.

One of our teachers once had this dad in her preschool classroom. Now she's helping guide his little one through those same early years.

The classrooms may look different, but the mission remains the same: helping children learn, grow, and thrive.

Wishing our families a safe, joyful, and relaxing Fourth of July weekend filled with sunshine, laughter, and plenty of ice cream.
Happy Fourth!

The best early learning environments help children feel safe, build meaningful relationships, explore through play, and grow with confidence.
As you search for the right preschool, look for:
• Caring teachers who build trusting relationships
• Purposeful, hands-on learning
• Safe, nurturing classrooms
• Strong partnerships with families
• A focus on the whole child's development

These are the experiences that help children develop a lifelong love of learning.
If you're exploring preschool options for this fall, we'd love to show you what makes Georgetown Hill Early School special. Schedule a tour today. https://georgetownhill.com/schedule-a-tour/

The best summer learning doesn't always look like learning.

It looks like exploring, creating, making friends, asking questions, and discovering something new every day.

Small moments today equals big growth next school year.

06/16/2026

Thank you to our Georgetown Hill families for an incredible 2025-2026 school year. Have a wonderful summer, and we'll see you soon.

06/12/2026

Summer is a time for exploration, discovery, and growth.

Beginning June 22, Georgetown Hill Early School's summer program offers children engaging experiences that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and build confidence through play-based learning.

From outdoor adventures to hands-on activities and new friendships, every day is designed to help children learn, play, and thrive.

06/10/2026

Small changes in conversation can make a big difference in learning.
When we ask open-ended questions, children have the opportunity to think more deeply, share their ideas, and practice important communication skills. These everyday interactions help build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking.
Try it today: Instead of asking, "What is it?" ask, "What do you notice?"

06/02/2026

We're officially counting down to summer.
Longer days, sidewalk chalk, outdoor adventures, family traditions, and a little extra time to play are almost here.

05/21/2026

There is something about hands-on projects, messy tables, and getting fully absorbed in creating something that kids never forget. Come make some messes.
