45 Days of Excellence!
To celebrate the 45th day of school, the end of the first quarter, students were challenged to submit 4-5 second videos explaining how they used the first quarter to elevate their learning, their community, or their future (see post on October 5). Then, the whole school family gathered around the Phoenix for a family portrait.

Mrs. Taylor's students demonstrated their quantitative observation skills in chemistry lab and proved that the Law of Conservation of Mass is indeed true.

The Lamar Cross Country boys team finished 3rd at this past week's home meet, led by freshman Braylen Bullard who placed 9th with a time of 22:46. Mack Creamer and Luke Johnson also participated in the meet.
