Attention afternoon carline families:
For our staff to clearly see your car tag, please hang it from your rear view mirror. Keep the tag displayed until your child is safely loaded into your vehicle. This helps us identify vehicles quickly and keep the pickup line moving efficiently. We appreciate all of your help and support!

Our kindergartners in Mrs. Bell and Mrs. Parnell’s class had fun exploring 2-D shapes! They used their creativity to turn shapes into the silliest pumpkins.

Collaboration + Reflection = Continuous Improvement!

Our 1st grade teachers are putting excellence into action during their PLCs! By analyzing classroom walkthrough data, engaging in meaningful conversations, and reflecting on instructional practices, our teachers are identifying opportunities to strengthen Tier I instruction and improve student learning.
At Pate, we believe that great teaching gets even better when we learn and grow together!

We are delighted to announce that six Pate students received Honorable Mention Awards at the State Fair’s juried student art competition!

Their individual artworks were created during the previous school year in Ms. Szigeti’s art class and were selected for recognition from more than 3,000 student entries. This is a wonderful accomplishment and a testament to our students’ creativity and hard work.

Happy National Instructional Coaches Day!

Today we are proud to celebrate two incredible members of our Panda Family—Mrs. Griffith, our Literacy Coach, and Mrs. Mitchell, our Coordinating Teacher!

These ladies work behind the scenes every day to support our teachers, strengthen instruction, analyze data, share resources, problem-solve, encourage, and help make great things happen for our students.

Mrs. Griffith brings her passion for literacy to our school each day, helping teachers grow their practice and ensuring our students receive strong reading instruction.

Mrs. Mitchell supports our teachers and students through math instruction, Title I initiatives, and so much more, always looking for ways to strengthen teaching and learning across our school.

Instructional coaching is about so much more than strategies and data—it’s about building people, encouraging growth, and keeping students at the heart of the work. We are thankful to have Mrs. Griffith and Mrs. Mitchell doing just that at Pate!

Thank you both for all the ways you guide, support, encourage, and empower our Panda Family. We appreciate you!
