❤️🐼 BE A LUNCH BUDDY. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. 🐼❤️
Sometimes, one caring adult can make all the difference in a child’s day.
Our Pate staff works hard every day to build strong, positive relationships with our students, and now we want to expand that circle of support by bringing additional positive influences from our community into our school.
We are looking for community volunteers to serve as mentors and Lunch Buddies for our Pate Pandas! This is an opportunity to build a positive relationship with a student by spending time together during lunch—talking, listening, encouraging, and simply being a consistent, caring presence.
You don’t have to be a teacher or have any special experience. You just need a heart for children and a little time to give. ❤️
Our goal is to connect our students with caring adults from throughout our community who can encourage them, share positive experiences, and help them see all the possibilities ahead of them.
All mentors will be required to complete the Darlington County School District volunteer application and approval process before volunteering.
