🎶 November Musician of the Month 🎶
🎵Brody Cooper - DHS Band🎵

We are excited to honor another incredible musician!

We are thrilled to announce Brody Cooper as the DHS band November musician of the month! He is a percussionist in band and a tenor in choir. Brody shows his dedication to music by being a leader both in and out of the classroom. He is constantly willing to help in any way that he can. He took on the role of leading the pep band while Ms. Lefeber was gone at the beginning of the school year, which was a huge responsibility! He is always looking for opportunities to perform and share his musical dedication to the community, such as portraying Charlie Bucket in the DHS musical “W***y Wonka!”

🎵 Musician of the Month - Emmanuel Garcia Soto 🎵
This month our ⅞ Choir Musician of the Month is Emmanuel Garcia Soto. Emmanuel is a very passionate person about music. He works hard and is always interested in performing. He has performed in Darlington Children’s Theater as one of the sharks in Finding Nemo, Jr, this past summer. And recently performed at the Celebrar Musica at the Driver Opera House. Emmanuel enjoys singing in Solo Ensemble and being a leader in the men’s section of choir. He is a respectful young man who is someone who is very conscientious of always wanting to do his best. Emmanuel Mrs. Schliem hopes that you will continue having that love of music and wanting to share your talents with your audiences.

🎵 Musician of the Month - W***y Rico 🎵
William Rico is our ⅞ Band Musician of the month. William is a great trombone player who always comes into class and lessons with a positive attitude. He regularly takes his trombone home to practice, which has helped him become a great player. His hard work has paid off, as he is one of the strongest players with our December concert music. Come watch William and the ⅞ band play at our winter concert which is happening Monday December 8th at 7:00pm. Congratulations William!

🎵 Musician of the Month - Corbin Wilhelmson 🎵
Corbin Wilhelmson is our ⅞ Band Musician of the month. Corbin is a great leader in band who is always ready to learn new music. Currently the band is learning a medley of songs from the Polar Express, and he is quickly learning all of the challenging sections. In band class he is always playing his music with confidence, which helps bring more attention to the clarinets. This week he will be performing at the Legion Hall’s Veterans Day program. Congratulations Corbin and continue to keep up the hard work!

Congrats Ali!

🎵 Musician of the Month - Ali Thompson 🎵
Our ⅞ Choir Musician of the Month is Ali Thompson. Ali is a newcomer to our choir and has been an Outstanding addition! She has been in Darlington Children’s Theater productions and last year was the leader of the Tank Gang playing the character of Gill. Her character was not far off from the type of person Ali is. She is conscientious, caring and always wants to do a great job in all she does. Ali is a natural leader who isn’t afraid to step out of her comfort zone. And besides all this she is a great singer and very knowledgeable in musicals!!! We are so happy to have Ali in our Choir! Keep on singing and we thank you for sharing your talents with all of us!!!
