PTO Parent Coffee: Setting Your Child Up For Success
Oftentimes, our kids work super hard at school, and parents have reported they see or experience different behaviors at home. Are you looking for strategies to use at home with your child?
Mrs. Risk and the Special Education Team are so excited to share some tips with ALL Royle parents on Fri. 5/19 at 9:00-9:45 am and 10:00-10:45am. Grab a cup and coffee, learn from some of our fabulous team, and connect with other parents.
The 9:00-9:45 am current ELP-2nd grade session will focus on setting up consistent routines and structures at home, important early childhood target skills with ways to practice at home, calming strategies, and general and summer transition tips.
The 10:00-10:45 am current 3rd-5th grade session will focus on helping our growing learners to understand themselves and their strengths and growth areas, building independence, self-help and self-advocacy skills, strategies for conflict resolution, and setting the stage for the upcoming summer transition.

Royle Students celebrated Earth Week by experiencing the planet from inside a giant inflatable globe. This unique perspective was made possible by Earth Balloon Portable Classroom, a 20 foot tall, hands-on learning vessel and the Royle PTO Enrichment Committee. Special thanks to for organizing!

Royle’s Earth Week started with a read aloud of ‘This Class Can Save the Planet’ by Stacy Tornio. Afterwards, students wrote one act they pledged to perform that will help our planet or one wish they have for the natural world on a slip of paper, which was hung on the tree in the middle of the Royle School Garden to show our love for the Planet.
