Would you believe it is only 6% of people who can say they do all 5 of these basic healthy lifestyle habits. So as I am fond of saying, master the basics. Get a coach if you need help creating the habits necessary to accomplish your goals. We all need a coach in our lives.

When talking about sleep, exercise, nutrition, boundaries or whatever...we all tend to look for the complicated, fancy, high level option. But the majority of the time the success lies in doing the basic, less complicated option...doing it well and doing it often.

No need to measure your food, just eat more veggies. You may want to try that fancy piece of equipment at the gym, but just squat and hinge and walk most days. We think we need blackout shades and a sleep tracker to get quality sleep, but try just putting your phone down 30 min before bedtime.

It is the little things, done well over time. That is the secret sauce.
