🎪 National School Lunch Week is October 12–16! 🎪

This year’s theme, “Cafeteria Circus: Where School Meals Take Center Stage,” gives us the perfect chance to celebrate the incredible school nutrition teams who serve our students each day.

From preparing meals to keeping lunch lines moving, our cafeteria teams play an important role in supporting students across McIntosh County Schools.

We are so thankful for the care, consistency, and hard work they bring to our schools every day. ❤️🖤💛

October is National Principals Month, and today we’re celebrating Ms. Tracy I. Robinson, Principal of McIntosh County Middle School!

Ms. Robinson is beginning her 23rd year in education and her first year as a principal. Her career has included teaching middle school science, 8th-grade math, high school science, and virtual science during COVID before moving into school leadership and serving five years as an assistant principal.

When asked what she loves most about MCMS, her answer was simple: the people. She values the supportive, welcoming community and the relationships she gets to build each day with students and staff.

Ms. Robinson hopes every student who walks through the doors of MCMS feels a genuine sense of belonging and knows they are in a place where they can learn and grow — because, as the school motto says, “BUCS learn here!”

Her favorite part of the day starts in the morning with coffee and conversations with teachers, followed by time in the cafeteria, hallways, and classrooms connecting with students and seeing learning in action.

Outside of school, Ms. Robinson enjoys exploring new places and trying new adventures, especially with her daughter. This past summer, that included parasailing together in South Florida!

Congratulations to McIntosh County Academy student KJ Roberson on his selection to State School Superintendent Richard Woods’ 2026–2027 Student Advisory Council!

We are proud to have KJ represent McIntosh County and share his perspective as a student with state education leaders. KJ was also recognized by the McIntosh County Board of Education in celebration of this honor.

📣 ParentSquare is where families receive school and district announcements, reminders, and messages from teachers and staff.
