Thank you to everyone for coming to the reunion last night! It was such a blast and awesome to see each other again! See you all in 10 years (but hopefully sooner)!

Happy Reunion Eve, friends! Here are the details and schedule for tomorrow:

8pm: The wristband deal begins at Compass Arena. (Our room is on the third floor, and there are stairs and an elevator to get there.)

9pm: Group picture immediately followed by a toast

11pm: Wristband deal ends

Just an FYI, below is what is included in the wristband. You will pay for the wristband ($52.50 includes tax and gratuity) at the bar.

The listed liquors from my understanding are for mixed drinks. So if you wanted shots or anything not included, you would just have to pay for that out-of-pocket, and the bartenders will let you know that too.

Top shelf liquor: Tito‘s, Bacardi, Askur, Bombay, Rakija, Libelula Tequila
Cocktails: Margarita, Moscow mule, Mojito, Cosmopolitan
Beer: Bottled, draft, and canned beer; imported and domestic
Wine: Red and white wine by the glass; Malbec, Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Still Rose, Chardonnay, Sparkling wine
Nonalcoholic beverages: still and sparkling water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and juices

Hey party people! We are a month away from our 10-year reunion! I wanted to send a major update:

THE GOOD NEWS: The reunion is still on!

DETAILS THAT ARE CHANGING: New location and the price is lowering. See the updated invite below and continue to sign up through the link below. If you already signed up, you do not need to sign up again. If you prepaid via Venmo, I will be returning your payment to you over the course of the next day. Everyone can pay at the door as you enter the reunion.

REASON FOR CHANGES: The original venue, ticket price, and other details were based on the number of people who filled out the original interest form at the beginning of the summer. As we collected signups for the actual event, the number of signups was lower than the anticipated count. (But there are still a huge amount people and counting going to the reunion! It's just a lower number than we thought.)

So now the reunion set up is very simple. You just have to:
1. Sign up.
2. Attend the event with $52.50 (3-hour open bar with tip and tax included).
3. Drink and have fun.

Unfortunately, only 5 people have signed up for a bus which is not enough to warrant renting one to go from Chicago to Darien and back, but continue signing up with that question, and we can potentially organize some ride shares that would be affordable.

Believe it or not, fellow Hornets, it's been 10 years since we left the hive. I'll pause so you can go vomit and process that reality.

Are you good now? Got it all out? No? Ok, well, the next best thing to do is to commiserate together at our 10-year reunion!

This is Liam Miller, your Class of 2011 Vice President. I promise you that I do not flaunt that title around regularly as that would be extremely lame, but wanted to toss it in here to give you context as to why I'm organizing this.

I know what you're thinking: "Wait, Liam, I thought traditionally, the class president organizes the reunions, and we elected a more capable, taller, more handsome leader as president who, until prom, had never worn anything except basketball shorts."

Yes on all accounts. Class President Jackson Panice is all of those things, and I've heard he's lobbying the US Army to adopt basketball shorts instead of cargo pants. Jackson has been serving our great nation since graduating from West Point, and this fall, he will be deployed to Asia. I believe his ultimate goal is to be elected class president of Mongolia. He will be helping organize this with me as much as he can.

So with the president taking on international diplomacy, the VP must step in to take on domestic items such as the 10-year reunion. Very generally speaking, we are aiming to have this event on a weekend in the fall of this year (2021). Since we're at an age where a lot of people in our lives are getting married, we might hone in on a Friday night, but those details will be solidified at a later time.
