I’ve been a little MIA because barbershop season in STL is alive and well! Competing with Visions of Harmony was a true honor this past week at BHS International. 11th in the world, and in our hometown! I had the joy of walking my dear friends, The Figment Five through the pattern as their coach, and watched Fully Vetted come away with their best score to date! I’ve enjoyed being one of the coaches that have touched their quartet journeys as they took the stage this week! It was so memorable to see all their hard work come to stage, and I am excited to keep working!

My coaching calendar for this fall is OPEN. I already have some July coaching coming up! If you want to spend some time with me, to level up your game for districts, now is the time to get on my schedule. And I can’t wait! Hit me up 🤙🏻

I’m honored and excited to share that I have officially completed my Voice Pedagogy Certification through the instruction of the phenomenal Adam Roberts, and the Voice Study Centre

This experience and chapter of work challenged me in the best possible ways. It gave me the opportunity to truly put myself under a microscope. To examine not only the “how,” but the “why” behind the way I teach, coach, direct, and communicate artistry from the floor. It pushed me to embrace myself more fully as an educator, director, and coach, while continuing to refine the tools I use to serve singers in healthy, effective, and meaningful ways.

Combined with the incredible musical work I continue to do with Visions of Harmony, this season of growth has deeply expanded my ability to create musical, impactful, and artistically fulfilling experiences for the singers I work with every day.

Here’s to continuing the work, always striving to better serve voices, artistry, and human connection through music. 🎶

I have been a little busy lately, and school is almost out for our littles - So that must mean, we're heading into my busiest season, especially with BHS International here in STL in July!

While 3 of my Monday nights were claimed just over the weekend, my coaching calendar has some May and June openings. I’ve got a few spots available for chorus coaching and quartet sessions—focused on sound, efficiency, sustainability, speech-like ease, and authentic performance.💈Let me know if you’d like to hang out with me for an evening, or weekend day!
