Lights, Camera, Admirals!
Homecoming Week wrapped up with an all-school pep rally, a parade down Old County, and the crowning of our Studmuffin and Powder Puff champions. The seniors swept both titles this year! A huge shoutout to our SGA for an unforgettable week of festivities and community. It’s been a Bayside week to remember—now let’s go win that football game! Go Admirals!

Day 4 of Homecoming Week brought out superheroes and action heroes across campus! In Round 2 of Stud Muffin, the juniors narrowly defeated the sophomores in a thrilling third-set tiebreaker.
Spirits are high, and the Admirals are ready for a full day of Homecoming festivities tomorrow!

Homecoming Day 3 brought flannels, fuzzy slippers, and Pajamas with a Purpose!
Admirals came to school in their PJs and brought new pajamas in their own sizes to donate to Family Promise of Baldwin County, which supports local families with children experiencing homelessness. During Upper School assembly, Family Promise of Baldwin County Donation Coordinator Vicki Robertson shared how these donations will make a difference for families in our community.
The day also included an all-school lunch on the Bluff, 1st and 8th grade buddies catching up, and a few Upper School students stopping by the Early School deck to visit our littlest Admirals. Homecoming fun continues tomorrow with Action Hero Day!

Homecoming Day 2 brought out the stars! Admirals hit the red carpet dressed as favorite movie characters, pro athletes, Ella Langley, Dolly Parton, and even a few local celebrities—our own Bayside football players!
The Upper School also kicked off the Studmuffin Tournament with Seniors vs. Freshmen—and the Seniors took the win!
Next up: Pajama Day!

Our Middle School cheerleaders brought the energy with a pep rally for our Early and Lower School Admirals, where we also celebrated our fall YDL athletes!

Our 8th grade Social Studies students explored this question through a place-based comparative study of the Muscogee (Creek) people of Daphne, Alabama, and the Inuit of the Arctic North.
From the library porch, students looked out across Mobile Bay and considered the landscape through the eyes of the people who lived here first.
What resources would be available? How would geography shape daily life, community, culture, and survival?
By observing the bay, bluff, shoreline, and surrounding environment, students connected the local landscape to history while comparing it with the dramatically different Arctic environment of the Inuit.
Learning history isn’t always about reading what happened in the past—it can also mean standing where they stood and seeing the world through a different perspective.
