We are excited to officially introduce Renaissance Neurodevelopment Center (RNC) to the Eastern Shore!

Located in Daphne, RNC provides comprehensive services for children, teens, and adults in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Our available services include Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Audiology, Diagnostic Services, and Behavioral Health Support.

🍕❤️ Grandparents’ Day at Renaissance! ❤️🍕

Our hearts—and our lunch tables—were extra full today! We were so grateful to welcome grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and other special family members for a pizza lunch with our sweet students.

The smiles on our kids’ faces said it all. 🥹 They were SO proud and excited to have some of their favorite people at school with them! Days like today are such a beautiful reminder of the incredible village surrounding our students.

Thank you to every family member who took the time to join us and make our kids feel so loved and special. We loved having you! 🍕🫶🏻❤️

A huge thank-you to the Bell Forest Fire Department for showing us what community is all about! ❤️🚒

When the ladder belonging to a data technician working at Renaissance School of the Eastern Shore was stolen, he was left without the extra-long ladder needed to complete his work. The Bell Forest Fire Department generously stepped in and came to our rescue!

We are incredibly grateful to be part of a community where our local heroes are always willing to lend a helping hand. Thank you, Bell Forest Fire Department!

🎉 We are so proud to celebrate our very own Mrs. Jennie Gartman, who has been named Eastern Shore Parents’ Teacher of the Month! 💙📚

Mrs. Jennie brings learning to life every day through hands-on experiences, meaningful projects, exploration, and discovery. She teaches our students that learning isn’t simply about sitting and listening—it’s about asking questions, making connections, trying new things, and discovering what you’re capable of.

More importantly, she pours her heart into building relationships with our students and families and truly represents the heart of Renaissance School of the Eastern Shore.

We are incredibly grateful to have Mrs. Jennie as part of our Renaissance community, and we love seeing her recognized for the difference she makes every single day! 🌳✨

We are so grateful to see Renaissance School of the Eastern Shore highlighted in Alabama Daily News as part of the conversation about school choice and the opportunities it is creating for students across Alabama.

At Renaissance, we believe every student has potential. Every student has gifts. Every student deserves the opportunity to learn in an environment that recognizes who they are, how they learn, and what they are capable of becoming.

Our students come to us with different strengths, different learning patterns, different goals, and different stories. What connects them is the belief that education should help uncover their potential rather than place limits on it.

Programs like the CHOOSE Act and scholarships through the Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund are helping more families access educational options that fit their children, and we are incredibly thankful to be part of that work.

We are proud of our students, our families, our staff, and the community that continues to believe in what we are building at Renaissance.

As Alabama’s school choice options grow, there is an important distinction that should not get lost: the CHOOSE Act did not replace the AAA Scholarship Program.

Happy Labor Day from Renaissance School! 🇺🇸✨

We had such a fun Friday Fun Day this week! Our K–8th grade students kicked off their Friday Clubs, while our 9th–12th graders enjoyed a hot dog cookout on our beautiful new deck! 🌭☀️

We love ending the week with opportunities for our students to relax, connect, and enjoy time together.

Wishing all of our Renaissance families a happy, safe, and relaxing Labor Day! 💙

🧇 Learning is sweeter when everything connects! 🧇

Today we celebrated National Waffle Day across the curriculum! Students learned about the history of waffles with Mrs. Jennie, made waffle crafts with Mrs. Clara, and practiced waffle-themed math and writing with Mrs. Barlow then ended the day with a well-earned waffle snack! ❤️

Theme teaching isn’t just fun—it strengthens comprehension and retention by giving students opportunities to connect the same topic across different subjects. When they can learn it, read it, write it, create it, and experience it, those connections help the learning stick! 🧠✨

Celebrating Student Success!

We are incredibly proud of Kai Hahn for earning THREE welding certifications through Coastal Alabama Community College!

Earning industry certifications while still in high school is an incredible accomplishment and gives Kai valuable, real-world credentials as he prepares for his future.

This is what college and career readiness looks like—students building skills, earning credentials, and creating opportunities before graduation.

Way to go, Kai! We are so proud of you! 💙🎓

📚✨ BACK TO SCHOOL AT RENAISSANCE! ✨📚

What a great first week! 💙

Our students spent the week reconnecting, building relationships, getting settled into new routines, and having plenty of fun along the way!

From hands-on learning 🔎 to Fun Friday 🃏 and lots of smiles in between, it was the perfect way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year.

We’re excited for another year of learning, growing, and doing school differently.
