In addition to academics, Veronica was a member of the Fairhope Dance Collective and National Charity League. In the fall, she will be attending the University of Alabama to major in Architectural Engineering.
Veronica has been dancing at ESDA for 15 years. Here is what she has to say about her time here:
“This studio has meant so much to me over the years. Not only has it been a second home, but it has been an escape from reality. ESDA has allowed me to express myself creatively and has always been a safe space to build myself up as a dancer and an individual. My teachers have taught me that it is not only okay to make mistakes, but that those mistakes build us into the people we are. They have also taught me that the best way to grow as a dancer is to do so here, because it is a safe place to take those risks. Dancing alongside these girls has been such an encouragement over the years, and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to dance with them one last time. I will always miss this place, and I will forever be grateful for the memories that stay with me.”
Veronica will be playing the role of Mary Poppins in our ballet production on May 16th at 3PM!
