We are excited to announce the 2026-2027 Peer Helpers for 5th and 6th grade! This year, we had an incredible number of thoughtful, kind, and capable students apply. After much consideration by our selection committee, we’ve finalized a group of students who demonstrated strong leadership potential, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. The decisions were not easy, as we were limited in how many students we could accept. Please do not reach out regarding individual scores as they are confidential. Thank you for respecting this process.
We are so proud of every student who applied and encourage those who were not selected this time to continue looking for ways to make a positive impact because your time is coming! There will be other opportunities throughout the school year for students who applied and did not get selected. Please join us in congratulating our new Peer Helpers! We can’t wait to see their positive impact at Daphne East!

What could be better on a HOT day than getting sprayed by a fire hose? Our first graders had an absolute blast!
Thank you Daphne Fire Department for continuing your yearly tradition of helping us celebrate the end of the school year. The students always look forward to it, and it made our day extra special and memorable. We truly appreciate your time, kindness, and support for our school and students
