Daphne Middle School's Visual Arts Class

This camp is for K through 12 years old!

Art students created an original mask using plaster gauze and a drape mold. After achieving the desired form, they used acrylic paint and miscellaneous materials to complete their work. They did a fabulous job!

Art students in 7th grade painted their favorite sea life on canvas. They used acrylics and had the option of adding real sand! It was a pleasure to observe and help these talented students create these wonderful works of art!

Art students created a color wheel eye using acrylics. They learned about color families before mixing primary colors to make secondary and intermediate colors. These turned out great, and many are displayed in the cafeteria and 7th grade hall!

Over 50 DMS student artworks were showcased at the 3rd Annual Daphne Feeder Pattern Art Show last night at Trojan Hall. All artworks were amazing, and the following received ribbons for placing in the show!

Art students in 7th grade created neurographic art over geometric shapes. They started by using crayons to scumble over masking tape. After removing the tape, students used acrylic paint markers to make the organic neurographic lines and shapes. They did a great job!
