FCCLA is partnering with our Volleyball teams to Go Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness on Tuesday, September 29!

Any student who wears yellow/gold to the game gets in FREE and can compete to win a $10 7Brew gift card for being the Best Dressed!

FCCLA is also selling yellow ribbon cookies with a childhood cancer awareness bracelet for $5. All proceeds will be donated to Camp Smile-A-Mile.

✨ DHS Alum Spotlight ✨

Will Randall, Class of 2018

While attending Daphne High School from 2014–2018, Will was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Government Association. One of the highlights of his time at Daphne High was being selected, along with 1,500 students from across the country, to represent Baldwin County and Daphne High School on the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in 2017. The trip took him to Montgomery and Washington, D.C., where he had the opportunity to speak with elected officials and representatives about issues important to Baldwin County.

Will graduated from Daphne High School with honors in 2018 and attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. While at Southern Miss, he interned with the Athletic Department’s marketing team and became the lead intern overseeing marketing operations for men’s basketball, baseball, football, and volleyball. He also traveled to the 2020 National Championship and 2021 Men’s Final Four in New Orleans, helping coordinate marketing efforts for both events. During his junior and senior years, he served as President of the Sport Management Club, which connected students with opportunities in the sports industry both on and off campus.

In January 2026, Will returned to his roots in Baldwin County and joined the Baldwin County Public School System’s Educational Technology Department. He supports approximately 12 schools, helping coordinate their technology needs and providing hands-on assistance to staff and students.

“I have lived in Baldwin County for 20 years and graduated from Daphne High School, so it is a full-circle moment to give back to my community through the school system that helped build me into the person I am today. I love Baldwin County, and it is my home for the long haul.

Students in Mrs. Burgess and Mrs. Hipp’s Algebra 2 Honors classes completed a scavenger hunt today to practice factoring all different kinds of quadratic expressions!

Mrs. Hudgins Government classes recently studied the various types of government. To demonstrate their knowledge, they created gummy representations of each government. Once completed, they were given fresh packs of gummies to eat!

✨DHS Alum Spotlight✨
Dr. Jolanda (Davis) Amey is a proud 2003 graduate of Daphne High School who has distinguished herself as an accomplished healthcare provider, entrepreneur, community advocate, and leader.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mobile in 2012 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2020, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her diverse career has spanned community health, occupational health, women’s health, primary care, telehealth, and other areas of advanced clinical practice.

In 2022, Dr. Amey further expanded her impact by establishing Amey Elite Healthcare, LLC, her own healthcare practice. Her commitment to advancing healthcare extends beyond clinical practice through community outreach, health education, mentorship, and local speaking engagements.

Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Dr. Amey earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Walden University in February 2026, achieving the highest level of practice-based education in nursing.

Dr. Amey is married to Justin Amey, and together they are the proud parents of four children. More than two decades after graduating from Daphne High School, she continues to exemplify leadership, excellence, and service while making a meaningful impact in healthcare and the community she proudly calls home.
