Daphne Elementary Physical Education

A Beautiful morning in Fairhope to take part in the 48th Spring Fever Chase! Daphne Elementary School was well represented with these little athletes! It was so much fun!💜💛💜💛

Okay parents - first full week of March! For those who have already bought a field day shirt - Thank you for your support! But there's still a lot of time left to buy a shirt for your child. Our Kindergarten teacher Ms. Dolan is just 4 students away from being the first class to win a pizza party! Ms. Mason in first grade and Ms. Harris in second grade are OOOOOOH so close to winning that party too! Those third graders - - well they might need a little help. Maybe they need to offer to do some chores for mom and dad to "earn" that field day shirt! 😀

Please be sure to send these back by next week if you want to run. They will be collected from the school next Thursday.😀

Okay Mom and Dad - Daphne Elementary School and the Daphne Elementary PTO have been selling Field Day T-Shirts for a month now! Lots of children will be at Coach Jimbo's Playground Popsicle Party. BUT - no class has YET to earn a Pizza Party. Our shirt sales also help fund our P.E. Dept. - all of the P.E. equipment that the kids use throughout the year is funded through our Field Day T-Shirt sales.

I sent an application home w/ each student today. It's a fun event that promotes a healthy lifestyle. Students that wish to participate will return the application w/ payment to their teacher. Students can meet me 15 minutes before the race (9:15) at the start line for a group photo.
I do have extra applications for parents who wish to participate in the Fun Run or 10K.

Union 10 Soccer Club spent a day playing games with our students. The best way to practice soccer skills is to have fun!
