Brewton City first graders successfully utilized verbal and written communication to respond to a question today. It was a pleasure to observe Mrs. Lloyd and Mrs. Hastings employ the instructional strategy of co-teaching to facilitate all students' achievement of this learning target Furthermore, the incorporation of active participation strategies and scaffolding techniques was evident throughout this lesson, highlighting the significance of oral language development. Excellent work, Mrs. Hastings and Mrs. Lloyd! Continue the outstanding efforts, Brewton Elementary!

Summer Literacy Camp teachers at Flomaton Elementary were knocking it out of the park today. Phonics First targeted lessons, choral reading, decodable text, read alouds and centers activities aligned to deficits were observed today. Thank you teachers and students for all your hard work.

Data informed instruction is where it is at! Conecuh teachers were busy progress monitoring students today to ensure deficits are being met during Literacy Camp. Thank you Conecuh county!

Phonics First, Heggerty, and transfer of phonics skills successfully into decodable readers were just a few of the outstanding practices being implemented at Rachel Patterson today. Keep up the great work!

Great news! The ARI Parent and Community Outreach team has been busy updating resources.

The update and redesign will allow the team to provide multiple resources attached to each QR code representing shared folders for the following literacy categories: phonological awareness, phonics, comprehension, fluency, oral language, etc. The revised resource flier will link to the replacements for outdated resources. Please replace any previously posted resource fliers with the new and improved version.
