Exploreum today….
Just wanted to let everyone know about the Bayside Summer Camp Orientation meeting. It will be held in the Pilot Center Theater (same place as last few years) at 5:30 PM. It will be a short meeting about the summer. I will send out directions as we get closer.
There are still a few spots available for the summer. Please register now if you haven't already. We have both an 8 week and a 4 week option available. We are very flexible on our 4 week option.
Happy Good Friday to everyone. I wanted to send this out really quick.
We have decided to offer a 4 week option for the 2026 Summer. There is still the full time option but we are also now offering a 4 week option for families who need us but only for a few weeks of the summer.
There are still some full time spots available so you can sign up for those as well.
More information to come.
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Easter!
Only 30 spots remain for Summer Camp 2026 @ Bayside
Reminder: Registration opens for everyone tomorrow. March 2nd.
I wanted to let everyone know about the upcoming summer.
The registration for the Bayside Summer Camp is currently open to Bayside families. It will open for everyone else on March 2nd.
We are once again limiting our registration to 65 campers. This is to provide you with a great summer camp experience and not be too crowded. We feel it offers a better opportunity for us to get to know our campers and interact with them.
I am hoping to add some great field trips to our normal lineup this year.
We will of course do our usual field trips:
*Some of these trips will be determined by age.
Gulf Coast Exploreum, Chuck E. Cheese, GulfQuest, Alligator Alley, Ocean Adventures in Biloxi/Gulfport, Mobile Museum of Art, Flight Works, TopGolf, Movies @ Premiere Cinemas, bowling and We Rock the Spectrum.
This year we are looking to add to that list this summer a return to the Gulf Coast Zoo, Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Fort Gaines, The Biloxi Aquarium, Pensacola NAS and Museum, Pensacola Children's Museum, The History Museum of Mobile. I am always open to other suggestions for field trips if anyone wants to email me.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me [email protected].
You can also call me in my office (251) 338-6473.
**These camps are open to ALL families, not just Bayside families. If you need a safe and fun place to spend the holidays.....we would love to have you with us.**
I do hope you will consider spending the holidays with us again this year. We offer weekly and daily rates for those who might need to get some last minute shopping/decorating/cooking in.
These camps offer a fun and safe environment for your children to spend the school holidays. We will have plenty of holiday snacks and holiday movie and TV specials. I love offering these camps. Both my parents worked while I was growing up. I spent school holidays with my grandparents. I know not every kid has that opportunity. I do know how difficult it can be for parents to take time off around the holidays and we want to give you a place for your children to have a wonderful experience.
We will use our entire campus throughout the week moving from the library, the SAC, the bluff, the playground and the Pilot Center. We plan to have a great time and our campers always enjoy the holiday camps. We will be outside as much as possible (weather permitting). Last year the weather was perfect for the first week of Christmas Camp and we were outside enjoying the perfect weather. These camps are much smaller and much more personal than the summer camp and are always a lot of fun.
