This memorial stands as a lasting tribute to the sacrifices, courage, and dedication of our veterans, ensuring that their service is remembered by generations to come - PLEASE SHARE

In addition, families, friends, and community members can purchase a personalized brick engraved with the name of a veteran, rank, and service branch or theater. Each brick becomes a permanent part of the memorial, creating a lasting legacy for those who have served. Whether you are honoring a family member, a friend, or a community hero, the memorial provides a meaningful way to celebrate their dedication and sacrifice. All members of the US public are welcome to participate.
Any profit remaining after purchase of the engraved bricks and installation will be donated to local veteran organizations!

We are honored to announce an exciting new project at Daphne High School: the installation of a US Veterans Memorial to recognize and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

As part of this initiative, six granite benches will be installed around the flagpole in the front of the school on Champions Way. Each bench will represent one branch of the U.S. military—Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force—as a lasting tribute to the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
This memorial will be dedicated to all veterans at our 2025 Veterans Day Assembly, a time-honored tradition at Daphne High School where we gather to express our deep gratitude for their service.

Community members will have the opportunity personalize this tribute to our veterans by purchasing a commemorative brick to be placed in the Veterans Memorial near the statue. Each brick can be personalized with a veteran’s name, rank, branch of service, or other details, providing a meaningful and lasting tribute. These customized bricks will form a walkway of remembrance, honoring those who have served our country.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Alabama Representative Matt Simpson for his support in helping fund this project. His commitment to honoring our veterans and supporting our schools has made this memorial possible, and we deeply appreciate his dedication to our community.

Daphne High School is proud to lead this effort in honoring those who have served, and we hope you will join us in making this memorial a meaningful and lasting landmark for our community.
Information will be available starting May 1 for anyone who wishes to honor a veteran with a commemorative brick, whether for a family member, friend, or any service member they wish to recognize.

Dear Daphne,

We are excited to update you on the progress of Daphne High School over the last five years and extend our appreciation to everyone who has contributed to the improvements on our school campus and in our community.

A hearty thank you goes out to Andrea Lindsey, our dedicated Daphne Board of Education member, and the entire Baldwin County Board of Education. We are grateful for the leadership and guidance of Mr. Eddie Tyler, Baldwin County Public School System (BCPSS) Superintendent, and his exceptional team; and special recognition goes out to Daphne Mayor Robin LeJeune, his dedicated staff, the Daphne City Council, DHS Athletic Director Kenny King, DHS coaches, as well as the generous citizens of Daphne who supported students with 3mil funding. We also want to express our gratitude to the numerous booster parents and local businesses in Baldwin County who have invested their time and resources into our facilities, programming and school community.

Your steadfast support has been instrumental in propelling us forward as One Daphne, One Family.
