Averett names Oberhelman as new softball head coach - Averett University Athletics Averett University announced the hiring of Carol Oberhelman as its new softball head coach on Monday. Oberhelman comes to Averett after two seasons as an assistant coach at Muskingum University following a four-year playing career at the University of Lynchburg.

Please help us to welcome our new head coach, Carol Oberhelman. We are so excited to have Coach O here and to get to work 💪🏼🥎
