A message from our 2022-2024 KSD FFA President, Bentley White.

Dale Dobson left such a lasting impact on Kentucky agriculture, the KSD FFA. and myself. Anyone who met him knows that he could have been a bit scary to meet at first. But, as soon as he approached you all of that fear faded away. He was such a joyful man who worked so incredibly well at bringing joy and determination to my team. We were able to collaborate with him on multiple projects; the most impactful for me was our “Coins of Hope” project. Throughout that project, our chapter was exposed to a depth of service that encountered the humanity of the agricultural industry with a strong sense of deeper awareness for the challenges that farmers, and others in the industry, face. Dale’s passing leads one to reflect on his mission, which became our mission, and to allow ourselves to continue carrying on the joyous encounter that we should have with each and every person we come across.

Dale's dedication to agriculture, farm safety, and the FFA community made a lasting difference. He inspired countless students, farmers, and communities across Kentucky through his passion, kindness, and commitment to helping others. His legacy will continue to live on in every lesson he taught, every challenge coin he shared, and every life he encouraged to put safety first.

May God surround Dale's family, friends, and our entire agricultural community with peace, comfort, and strength in the days ahead. Though he will be deeply missed, his impact will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Dale Dobson.

A message from our 2025-2026 Vice-president, Raigan Privett.

Dale, I honestly don’t know how to put into words how much you meant to me. You were there for me during my FFA journey, encouraging me and believing in me. You were someone who made me feel like I mattered. One of the memories I will hold closest to my heart is you coming to my graduation. I will never forget getting to shake your hand, look you in the eyes, and give you a hug. Having you there on such an important day in my life meant more to me than I could ever explain. It was a moment I will treasure forever. I will also always remember the special coin you gave me. You gave me your own coin, and to me, it is so much more than just a coin. It is a piece of a memory that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Every time I look at it, I will think of you, your kindness, your support, and the way you always encouraged me to keep going. Rest in peace my dear friend.
