Mrs. Smith’s classes have been working on what it takes to make strong inferences in reading!
Students had fun practicing this skill by making a “Text Salad” when pulling information from a text.
They also enjoyed learning through a mystery neighbor activity.

Students have learned about the importance of always being an active reader by asking questions and making observations.
Thinking about reading is essential when making inferences!

These are some pretty skilled inference investigators!!

Mrs Godbey’s class loves their Brain Smart Start mornings! Today students greeted each other by saying their name and giving one another a compliment. We then practiced Bee breathing before starting our Morning Message! It’s always a great start to our day! ❤️
