22nd Virginia Infantry Co. G Welcome to the facebook home of Company G 22nd Virginia Infantry (The Wyoming County Riflemen).

We are a group of like minded and family oriented individuals based in southern West Virginia who portray the confederate soldier and what they fought for. Company G 22nd Infantry and Hales Battery of Artillery are now accepting new recruits!! Whether you are a seasoned reenactment vet or someone wanting to get into the hobby we invite you to join our ranks! We offer a fun and exciting environment

for both adults and children alike. Many of our member have children and spouses who participate and we will always find a way for all ages to participate! We will never tolerate close minded or racist individuals and will always strive to correctly educate the public about the struggles and hardships of the confederate soldier and their families. We can even help to "dress you out" for your first event so you can see if you are interested in what we do! If you would like more information or to join our ranks feel free to message us!

The Old Guard of Richmond: A UCV affiliate at the Old Soldier's Home in Richmond raised funds for a monument honoring the legendary cavalry leader J.E.B. Stuart in 1897.

Each member is wearing the uniform he had on when Lee surrendered at Appomattox in 1865.

Heroes erect monuments to great men. Cowards tear them down.
